The shell was then prepped for spraying. Dent repairs were needed to the bonnet and a few other small ones here and there. The trim holes needed to be drilled in the bonnet and the new doors. The shell was then sanded in 600. The car was then sent to the spray shop (Nick: 07974054593) where the prep was completed, and it was given a complete colour change inside and out in 2pk renault 481 purple.

Nick did a great job and the pics above show the shell being built up. New window rubbers from custom and Commercial were used and are highly recommended. also new light seals, wing beading, clip on bonnet and boot seals (the original styles being removed due to being a rust trap) were added. Also added for a bit of brightening up were some new rear light units and lenses, white mudflaps, chrome finger plates, gravel guards and an ally firewall.
Interior wise bits included cream seats and door panels, steering wheel and the stereo made a new home in the dash.
